Private Investigators are not Law Enforcement Officers or Police Officers. They may use to have been in those fields and during their time there they had access to an enormous amount of information on individuals and businesses. However, once they left service their access to the same level of information is dramatically limited. Individuals looking for a Private Investigator (PI) are often lurked in by the PI with boastful claims they can get detailed financial and phone records. They cannot.
